Today we are sharing 3 simple tips to enhance your social media strategy!
1. Know Your Niche
We cannot stress this enough! This will not only allow you to gain a know, like and trust factor but it will also give your audience a reason to STAY AROUND and look to you as the ‘expert’ or their go-to resource.
The easier the algorithm can “categorize” your account and its content, the more likely your posts will appear for users who have shown a previous interest in your niche. If you sound like a broken record, you’re doing it right. This is a social media strategy must!

2. Add Strong Call-to-actions to Your Captions
If you are looking to engage more with your audience and get a stronger idea of what they WANT from you, we highly recommend adding strong CTA to your captions. This is a crucial piece of the puzzle when you are developing your social media strategy.
One of the best ways to hack the Instagram algorithm is to encourage as many engagements as possible.
According to Instagram, the most important engagements for feed ranking are comments, likes, re-shares, and video views.
- On a reel: “My favorite tip is at the end”
- In a post: Which outfit is best
- On a live: Drop a ____ if you are _______ “
- Stories use the features like, poll, questions, stickers
3. Developing Your Hashtag Strategy
Yes, hashtags have been around in the social media world for a LONG TIME. What some people think is to use as MANY hashtags as possible and make them as BROAD as possible.
This is a HUGE ‘no-no’ for any social media strategy.
Remember, you want to include up to 26-30 relevant hashtags in your post caption or first comment and make sure your hashtags are relevant to the content of your post, target audience, industry, location, or brand.
You can always take inspiration from trending posts in your niche. Look at relevant content on your Instagram Explore Page and take note of commonly used hashtags.
You will want to use hashtags with a healthy volume of posts, but avoid oversaturated ones – for example – anything between 10K and 250K will give your content the best chance of being seen!
