Do you wake up on the defense or the offense? A morning routine can make a big difference.
I (Melanie) place a high priority on my morning routine. The morning is my sacred space to get my mindset in the right space to serve others for the day.
So let me walk you through how I set myself up for the day.
Wake up 5 am.
Meditate for 5 minutes using the “simple habits” app. I personally like this app because I have a short attention span and five minutes is perfect for me.Gratitude Journal is up next. I use the five minute to write down the things I am grateful for, set the days intentions and focus on the positive opportunities I can create today .Next is my devotional. Two of my favorites are the 100 days to brave devotional by Anne Downs and the She Works His Way daily devotional app.
Then, I use my Rise Up planner by Moira Kucaba to plan out my daily tasks, to review my vision statement and goals. This takes me about 20-25 minutes and then I am off to workout.
My workout is non negotiable because self care every day is how I set myself up for positivity through the day!
Do you have a morning routine, how do you set yourself up for success daily?
